This rebrand addresses the necessity of updating Cinemateca as an institution, aiming to attract a younger audience. To achieve this transformation, the entire identity was reimagined to reach and engage the new public frequenting this space.
Screening sheets are an essential part of the cinematic experience at Cinemateca Portuguesa. These simple A5 folded sheets of colored paper, handed out at the entrance, provide a brief synopsis of the film along with relevant information about the production, direction, and cast. This resource allows the audience to immerse themselves in the film's context even before the screening begins, enhancing their overall viewing experience.
The new social media graphics aim to enhance online engagement by highlighting Cinemateca Portuguesa’s film selections and events.
